My first two pieces...

Pottery class rocks my world. I go once a week to a community center near Rokkomichi station. (This is the same stop where Tim gets off to walk to the University.) The teacher only speaks Japanese and most of the other students speak to me in Japanese. Of course, I only understand expressions like 'excellent' or 'nice to meet you' or 'good night', but I think it's sinking in little by little. There are two other foreign students who speak fairly good English and some Japanese. They translate the really crucial information for me. I watch a lot to pick up techniques and figure out what we are supposed to be doing. I could pottery class turning into a long-term habit.
