After compiling and posting our journal to the internet I realized that I had been really slacking on my sketchbook, something that I had intended to be diligent about. So rather than waste another moment I set off this evening after classes. About ten minutes walk from our apartment is a very nice stretch of waterfront path. It is part of an urban redevelopment effort that includes some massive and disappointingly bland high rise apartments. The path itself is quite nice however. From the path you can look across a working inlet full of pudgy Japanese barges and into a thicket of freeway bridges.
